Aumentano in Italia i giovani che si dedicano alla pastorizia. Nuova moda o necessità?

Nuovi pastori d’Italia unitevi! Potrebbe essere il motto dei giovani che lasciano la scuola o abbandonano vani sogni di carriera manageriale a discapito delle aspettative dei loro genitori. Forse è la sempre più diffusa attenzione verso il consumo di prodotti nostrani e il contatto con la natura o la continua ricerca di nuovi spazi per far pascolare il proprio gregge che porta in sé la speranza di intraprendere una professione più “itinerante” che “interinale”, più libera che costretta da regole ben stabilite e tra quattro mura.

Fatto sta che il numero dei giovani che si dedicano alla pastorizia in Italia sta aumentando, tanto da dedicare all’argomento  un libro e un film “Sentire l’aria” che narra le vicende di un giovanissimo pastore, divenuto tale per scelta.

Pecore al pascolo

Alcune regioni italiane, più precisamente il Piemonte e la Lombardia stanno dando il via ad alcune scuole di pastorizia, nell’ambito delle quali si studieranno in modo particolare gli aspetti pratici della vita di un pastore, quali la tosatura e la produzione di formaggi.

Tuttavia, in considerazione della lunga crisi economica ed occupazionale che sta investendo il mondo occidentale, perché non soffermarsi sulla possibilità di crearsi un nuovo lavoro, laddove è possibile e dove lo spirito di sacrificio e la passione siano davvero grandi?

Forse, tra qualche tempo sarà usuale poter accedere ad un mutuo per l’acquisto di un gregge e una stalla, anzichè per la casa.

Young people devoting themselves to sheep farming in Italy are increasing. A new fashion or necessity?

New shepherds of Italy, unite! This could be the motto of young people who leave school or give up the dream of a managing career to great disappointment of their parents’ expectations.

Maybe, it’s the more and more spreading attention to the consumption of home produce and closeness to nature or the continuous search of new territories for their flocks, evocating the hope of a job that can be more itinerant rather than interim and free from fixed rules.

Whatever the reason, the number of young people who devote themselves to sheep farming in Italy is increasing so much that a book and a film have been dedicated to the subject. “ Feeling the air” is the story of a young boy, who choose to become a shepherd, thought his father is a surgeon and his mother is a teacher.

Some Italian regions such as Piedmont and Lombardy are going to start sheep farming schools, where it is possible  to learn about practical activities of the shepherd’s life i.e. clipping and cheese making. However,

in view of the present economical recession in western countries, why not consider  the possibility of  finding a new job that no doubt requires a spirit of sacrifice and passion? Maybe, in the near future loans for the purchase of flocks and stalls, instead of flats will be regularly granted in Italy.

Erhöhung der jungen Leute Italiens, die sich der Schäferei widmen. Nach der Mode oder aus der Not?

Neue Schäfer Italiens, vereinigt euch! So könnte  das Motto der jungen Leute lauten, die zur  großen Enttäuschung ihrer Eltern die Schule verlassen und auf den Traum einer Managerkarriere verzichten. Vielleicht hängt es sich vom wachsenden Interresse für die Natur und unverfälschte Erzeugnisse ab, oder es handelt sich um die ständige Suche neuer Weiden für die Herde die, mit sich die Hoffnung einer  Dauerbeschäftigung und eines Nomadenlebens bringt.

Doch verlängt sich die Reihe der jungen Leute in Italien, die sich der Schäferei widmen und das wurde das Thema des Buches und Films “ Die Luft fühlen”, in dem erzählt man, die Geschichte eines Jungen, der nach einiger Wahl Schäfer wird, trotz seine Eltern ein Chirurg und eine Lehrerin sind.

Einige italienische Länder wie Piemont und die Lombardei  haben  Viehzucht- und Schäfereischulen  geplant, wo die praktischen Aspekte des Hirtenlebens u.a. das Scheren und die Käsebereitung gelernt werden.

Angesichts der gegenwärtigen wirtschaftlichen und Beschäftigungskrise im Westen warum nicht eine neue Arbeit in Anbetracht nehmen, die zwar Opferbereitschaft und Leidenschaft vorausetzen!  In der nächsten Zukunft wird es vielleicht gewöhnlich in Italien sein, ein  Darlehen für den Einkauf eines Herdes und Stalles statt einer Wohnung aufzunehmen.

Vacanze negli alberghi di ghiaccio
